We caved and bought a proper BBQ. It’s *huge* so we tucked it into the outside dining area. 2/3 BBQ grill and 1/3 plancha. Let them cook outside…
This place is 2 minutes walk just by the tiny marina. €15,90 for two courses, 18,90 for three. It’s called Le Hangar and tonight they have a band playing. What’s not to love…
Here are a few favourites for those who want to burn off their daily pain au chocolat.
Worth slapping on some mozi repellant if you are following the canal or the estuary out to le Cayenne.

Hard to get a picture of the lights. Gorgeous late afternoon/ early evening by the pool. Last day, back to London tomorrow : (
Three days of work with the amazing Jacques and we have a new wall by the pool.
Last year our neighbours cut down two massive trees giving us welcome extra hours of sunshine at the end of the day, but less privacy.
Hence the new ‘wooden wall’, ta-da!
We spent Sunday at La Grande Terrasse while the house was cleaned. A bit of decadence. There is an amazing spa and 5 star restaurant. Splash out with a half day pass for access to the pool and private beach €37 a head! Ideal place to spend a few hours in between airport drop offs and collections and they have Tesla chargers 🙂
In with the goats at La Palmyre zoo
The old folk don’t like the low sofas apparently so we have invested in two armchairs in the main living room. For Granny and Gramps with love xx
